This vase is 9 ½” high, 6 ¾” in diameter at the top, and 5” in diameter at the bottom. The glass is textured, and it contains white speckles. The bottom is very rough, a feature of hand-blown glass.
It was given to me about 10 years ago by a neighbor. She said she bought it in Italy in the 50s. She was almost 90 when she told me this, and she was starting to get confused, so it may or may not be Italian.
